Digital Press ‘First’ For Hanway in the UK

We are about to install a Hanway HighJet 2500 REVO Pro digital printing machine at a leading independent UK corrugated board manufacturer. It will be the first of its kind in the UK. The machine, which will be fitted with an automatic feeder, stacker and full tunnel dryer, is to be installed in October.

“We are excited about the installation of this new machine, which really sets the standard for high output, high quality multi pass digital printing,” explains David Williams. “However, the thing that really sets this machine apart is the fact it uses water-based pigment dye, meaning that not only is it safe for food contact, but also ensures the boxes are easily recyclable. With the massive lift in demand for e-commerce and personalised packaging, this customer wanted a digital printing machine that is quick to set-up, easy to run, offers good levels of output and provides a sustainable packaging solution.”

He continues, “We are delighted to secure the order for this 2500 REVO Pro. This is the first machine of its type in the UK and the customer was impressed by its robust build quality and value for money. Even though this is a UK premier, Hanway have sold over 300 multi-pass digital printing machines globally and over 30 single pass machines, all water based, so they are not a ‘new kid on the block’. Compared to many other multi-pass machines, the REVO Pro stands out from the competition in so many aspects, such as uptime, ease of use and of course water based, water proof inks. If you make packaging, UV is no longer a real option – so if you are looking to get into digital print with water-based inks, the Hanway could be the ideal machine for you.”
