We are delighted to confirm the appointment of John Pound as our new Technical Services Manager. He joined us on 1st February.
John will have a broad remit, including management of technical projects, co-ordinate after-sales service with Jamie McDonald, as well as attending breakdowns and assisting with machine installations when needed. He will also be responsible for sales of the corrugator products and equipment, including the Quantum corrugator, that sit in the GTS portfolio.
John is no stranger to the UK corrugated industry, having held senior roles within a range of corrugated companies including Mondi, Cepac and latterly, Corrboard. He has also worked within the industry supply chain, having spent several years with Mansfield Board Machinery.
“I am delighted to add John to our team,” says David Williams, Managing Director. “He is immensely experienced in many aspects of the corrugated industry, most notably when it comes to the corrugating process. He will also lead the sales for our corrugating products, which includes the Quantum corrugator.”
David concludes, “This is yet another important appointment we have made, as we continue to invest in the people and skillsets within our business. John joins a robust team of professionals and we look forward to getting him into the field as quickly as possible.”
