We recently installed a new GTS Boxstar Mini at PMC Packaging in Manchester.
"With over 25 installations of the Boxstar, this is the first 1800 mini machine," explains Paul Herson, Product Manager. "With an 1800 deckle that suits most sheet plants, it converts unlimited length stock sheet, in single pass as it cuts to length and width also."
Paul Carter, Owner, PMC Packaging, said, "We needed a machine that could replace our old box maker, creaser, cutter and gluer on some jobs. This has now created extra capacity for us as a business and freed up labour too."
He continued, "Since the installation it’s surprised us what the machine can actually do and how fast it does it. With three processes already removed, we are amazed at the time saving of having the gluing option. We can load the feeder and away we go with one operator. We are so happy with our new purchase, it’s a game changer for us."
